The problem with digital data…

…is that there will be no Dead Sea Scrolls, no manuscripts. The future will be like the past, where stories and issues were presented orally or with primitive wall art.

Wikipedia rewrites not just history but the present. Youtube enforces the official line as do all the Masters of the Universe. If you only want to get the approved line, you will be happy. Until you experience wrong-think. If you want to be exposed to multiple ideas, it’s a losing proposition.

We need hard copy. Whether it’s a bank stetement or a voting card or property deed or cash, if it goes digital, there will come a day when we can’t prove the past, negotiate freely in the present or shape our futures.
