LibLabCon – UK already has a national govt.
There is no material difference between the policies of Labour, Liberals and Tories. To all intents and purposes, the UK is run by a one-party regional government of Europe. They are interchangeable, so why not skip the general election and just have primaries, to pick candidates who will vote according to the liberal consensus.
Better still, restrict voting to Guardian readers and BBC viewers, with the elections being run by the Question Time team.
