When I was a child we lived in Johor Bahru, the town at the bottom of the Malay Peninsular. American comics were sold, as well as our British ones, and we were familiar with Archie.

Back in England, a pop song called Sugar Sugar was by The Archie’s, late 60s or early 70s. At which point Archie disappeared from my life.

Until today.

Archie is going to die! according to this news report.
