Before “they” rebranded Food Stamps as SNAP, to remove the stigma, people in Texas on Food Stamps were rightly held in low regard by the Texans paying for this retail binge.

I say “retail binge” because the retailers are making their margin. The card processors no doubt get a slice at checkout. The trash food corporations get their full margin. The State and City take their 8.25% sales tax.

Taxpaying Texans who neither have nor want SNAP cards and who would not be seen dead using “Food Stamps” – they pick up the tab.

Build a field..throw food down for pigeons…. they will come.

Would “folks” use SNAP if all that was on the menu was Bill Gates’ and Klaus Schwab’s nutrient-rich crickets, bugs and other garbage? No. h
