Charting Success

It is one of the most successful campaigns ever.

The criteria for success are not what the consumers think they are. For example, “the news” is not about running a public information service. News is a business and the objectives depend on the shareholders and controlling interests: governments want to socially engineer their subjects on specific issues and socially condition their subjects on the macro level.

“Private sector” news shareholders and controlling interests also want to ‘socially engineer their audience on specific issues and socially condition their audience on the macro level’, but they also want to sell advertising, make profits and enjoy the power over their consumer audience on the plantation.

The subject/audiences think they are being informed, advised, alerted and educated, as well as entertained. They consume the news because it means they are ‘participating’

As for the chart-topping successes, they indicate the combined successes of corporations working in harmony with government and pan-national organizations.
